If you wish to automate the creation of backups, please refer to .

Option 1: Backup your Server in your PC

  • Connect via FTP following the tutorial available in the help center.

  • Select all the files from the server and create a folder on your PC to save the backup.

  • Drag the files into the created folder to complete the backup on your PC.

Option 2: Backup in RetlyHosting

  • Access the Backups section in the RetlyHosting .

  • Click on Create Backup. Assign a name to the backup, for example, the current date (e.g., 01/06/2023).

  • Optionally, you can specify which files and folders should be ignored in the backup. You can lock the backup to prevent it from being deleted.

  • Click on Create to initiate the backup creation. The process will take a few seconds.

  • If desired, you can download the backup in ZIP format.

  • Restoring a backup:

    • In the Backups section, select the desired backup.

    • Click on Restore and confirm the restoration.

    • The files will be restored, and you can start the server correctly.

By following these steps, you can create backups of your server in RetlyHosting and restore them when needed. Remember the importance of regularly performing backups to protect your data and ensure the availability of your server.
