How to Manage your Minecraft Players from the Dashboard

In this article we are going to see how to make a player operator (and remove him of course), how to add and remove someone from the server whitelist, kick, ban by name and ban by IP.
To manage your players go to the Control Panel, specifically to your server by clicking on the “Manage Server” button.
On the left sidebar click “Player Manager”. You will see something similar if you are inside the server:
The green button containing the word “OP” is used to give operator permissions to a person. If a person is an operator, he/she will appear in the “OP List”.
If the player is an OP, then a red button that says “DEOP” will appear, which will be used to remove operator permissions from that player.
If you have the whitelist deactivated on your server you can press the “ADD TO WHITELIST” button to add the player to the whitelist (so he can enter when you activate the whitelist).
In this case the same happens as with the OP: if a person is in the whitelist, he/she will appear in the list of players belonging to the whitelist and a red button to remove that person from the whitelist.
Minecraft's default whitelist can be problematic, so if it doesn't work we recommend adding a whitelist plugin, as explained in this article.
As you can see in the images of this article, there are three more buttons: KICK, BAN, BAN IP.
KICK: Serves to expel the player, but without being banned.
BAN: Serves to ban the player's name, so that to re-enter the server the name must be changed (some launchers allow it). All banned players will appear in the “Banned Players” list.
BAN IP: It is used to ban a player's IP, so if his IP is always the same, no matter how much he changes his name he will not be able to enter the server. All banned IPs will appear in the “Banned IPs” list.
