RetlyHosting Tour

If you are here, it is because you are already a RetlyHosting customer or you are interested in RetlyHosting, because we really appreciate it!

In this article we will be looking step by step, in a very detailed way, the whole process of purchasing and logging into our panels: the Billing Panel and the Control Panel. In addition, we will be discussing all the features and operation they have.

Step 1: Purchase a Server

We have created the purchase process to make it as comfortable as possible for you and for us. Here we will explain in detail the process so you can visualize it very well before buying, but it really is highly intuitive, let's see it!

Select a Plan

You should go to our website and go to the section of the plans to choose the one that best suits your needs. If you are not sure which plan suits you best, we have a calculator to help you.

Once you have decided on a plan, you must click on the Buy button which will start the purchase process.

Make the Payment

The first thing we will ask you to do at the time of purchase will be to make the payment of an amount equal to the price of the selected plan. Then, as we will see, we will ask you the necessary questions to create your account and your server.

We have two methods of payment: PayPal and bank card (both credit and debit).

In case you select PayPal, an integrated page will appear where you will have to perform the usual PayPal payment process: click on the PayPal button, log in to your account, choose from which funds the money will be withdrawn and make the payment. Once the payment has been made correctly, within this integrated page the account and server creation process will appear, which we will discuss in the next subsection.

If you select Bank Card, a form will appear where you will have to fill in the required fields with the correct information of the bank card you wish to use. Then, click on the Pay button. A pop-up or notification may appear on your cell phone linked to your bank account asking you to verify the transaction. Once the transaction is verified, the process of creating your account and server will begin.

Account & Server Creation

Once the transaction is successful, it will start the process of creating your account and your server.

To create your account or to find out what your account is, you will be asked if you are a previous or current RetlyHosting customer, or if you are a new RetlyHosting customer.

  • If you are new: You will be asked for an email address and password to create your account. That email address and password will be the ones to use in both the Billing Panel and the Control Panel.

  • If you are not new: You only need to enter the email address linked to your RetlyHosting account.

Once your account has been created or you have been identified, we will ask you the following questions, in this order:

  1. If you want a Java or Bedrock server.

  2. The software that your server must have. Examples: PaperMC, Forge, PocketMineMP, etcetera.

And that's it! Your server will be created and you will be able to start using it. Let's take a closer look at the Billing Panel and the Control Panel.

Step 2: Billing Panel

The Billing Panel is the platform where you can manage the services you have purchased, the invoices and the transactions you have made with us.

Extra: Support

One of the most important aspects of a company is its customer support. We know that and we are always trying to improve ours. Below we present the different channels we have for the different types of support:

This bot is the first bot you will encounter when you need official support. We have programmed it to solve the most common questions and problems. If you decide to click on the Human Support option, this process will be followed:

  1. The bot will first show you the options to consult this Help Center and our YouTube channel.

  2. If you want to continue with the process of opening a ticket, it will propose a couple of other solutions to common but more specific problems.

  3. If your question is not one of those shown, it will ask you to describe the problem or doubt you have. The bot will consult this same Help Center and will look for an article that may be useful to you and will open it in a second tab. If it does not find any suitable article, an Artificial Intelligence will give you an answer that you may find useful.

  4. The same bot will inform you, before opening the new tab with the article, that if you are not satisfied with the solution proposed in the article, you can return to the bot and click on the button that will send you to the ticket page to open a ticket.

As you can see, the bot has a lot of functionalities and answers to frequently asked questions. This, on the one hand, can make it a bit difficult to open a ticket, but we have done it this way for these two reasons:

  • Deeper learning of knowledge to troubleshoot problems related to our Billing Panel, Control Panel and about Minecraft servers in general.

  • Instant response to your question/problem: Being a small team, we do not have a single person responsible for providing support, but we all have different roles within the hosting. This makes it difficult for us to respond to customer tickets within ten minutes. With programmed bot responses, Help Center article query capability and built-in AI, you will receive the solution to most of your problems instantly, without having to wait.

  • An advantage for us and our customers: The semi-automation of our official support system allows us to dedicate more time to other more momentous tasks, which naturally makes RetlyHosting get better and better and therefore you get a better and better product for the same price.
